Well, here I am writing from SPAIN where it is significantly warmer than Iceland. I’m totally loving Barcelona so far – every street is so damn strollable!
Check out the view from Kabul Party Hostel . . .
P.s. We each paid $51 TOTAL for four nights plus free breakfast and dinner.
TOTAL PEOPLE. TOTAL. NOT $51 PER NIGHT.
$51 WAS THE TOTAL FOR FOUR FREAKIN’ NIGHTS.
Ummmm, can I just live here forever?!I love buncha crunch so I was SUPER excited to find this cereal in a local supermercata.
Yes, we went to McDonald’s in Spain but it was late at night and like the only place open. I’m glad we did or else I never would’ve known that heart-shaped burgers were a thing.
Saying my prayers inside Gaudi’s famous Sagrada Familia church.
They weren’t selling tickets to go up the towers (sad face) but we paid for a walking tour for about 28 euro which was worth it.
We learned a bunch about the history and architecture of this beautiful church (which is still under construction to complete Gaudi’s original plan).
Below is, Casa Batlló, one of the famous houses in Barcelona– also designed by Gaudi.I have so many more photos to share with y’all but I’m working off of my iPad and my SD card reader attachment is being veryyy temperamental.
I’ll leave you with this photo for now which is the view from Parc Guell — more to come!
Spread kindness and cheer, xo
