There are few things I love more than a charmingly adorable small town. I mean, I’ve only gushed about my love for Lake George once or twice…
I love small towns for all their quirks, oddities and traditions. Below are a few small towns that I hope to visit someday because they’re all so freakin’ ADORABLE.
Annecy, France :: Population 50,250
Fritzlar, Germany :: Population 14,500
Park City, Utah :: Population 8,050
Homer, Alaska :: Population 5,400
Positano, Italy :: Population 3,950
Telluride, Colorado :: Population 2,370
Leavenworth, Washington :: Population 1,200
Albarracin, Spain :: Population 1,050
Coffee Bay, South Africa :: Population 268
What are your favorite small towns? Have you been to any of these 9 places?
Spread kindness and cheer, xo
Jackie
I absolutely loved Park City! I didn’t go to snowboard or ski, but just getting to walk around downtown was enough fun! I felt like I was inside a snowglobe! 🙂

And don’t forget Mudgee, NSW, Australia. Just clicked out 10 000 people, only 3.5 hours from Sydney and wall-to-wine wineries and good food! Sorry, I am biased I know!!! 😉 Mel https://lifeonebigadventure.com/2017/01/11/getting-the-flavour-of-mudgee/

It looks like you’ve selected some amazing places. Give Roundstone in Co Galway, Ireland a try sometime. There are beaches, mountains and a historic abbey nearby. And the town itself is beautiful. Cheers!

I’ve been to 5 of those, just one of the European ones (Annecy). It’s a tough thing narrowing down all the charming small towns to a reasonable list and you did a good job!

Of the towns you wrote about I have only visited Park City, Utah. I went there in the summertime.The weather was crisp and I immediately noticed that everyone in town seemed to be outdoors enjoying walking, running, riding bikes etc. The people were super friendly. This town is certainly worthy of your list!

I haven’t been to any of these 9 towns, but now I want to visit! The only one I have heard of before was Annecy, so I guess that one would be at the top of my list!
