Thursday Thoughts

Ice cream, sunshine and hanging out with the pup was all I had on my agenda today…pretty sweet, eh?

This time next week I’ll be back in the working world, among all the hustle and bustle of NYC. It’s definitely going to be a change of pace, but I’m looking forward to it. After all, I do need a consistent paycheck if I want to move out to a nice little place of my own. Ahh, what a day that’ll be. One thing at a time though, right?

Now that I’ll be commuting again, I’m going to have plentyyyy of time to consume books left and right. Soooo…I’m looking for YOUR SUGGESTIONS! Holler at me in the comments below if you know of a fantastic book I should read.

Also, can we all just talk about how perfect this library is? Maybe a different rug but…#GOALS

Happy Hump Day, y’all! The book I just finished is called Big Cherry Holler by Adriana Trigiani. My grandma recently gave me a HUGE bag of books that my grandpa said “even the library wouldn’t take.” hahaha

p.s. my grandma is fab, just look at her–

So naturally, she gave all the books to me. And inside that bag was BCH. I read it having no idea that it was actually a sequel to a book called, Big Stone Gap. Even so, I enjoyed the story and image1would recommend it. Filled with funny friendships, marriage drama, love, loss and a trip to Italy – this book definitely kept me entertained.

Thoughts? What should I read next? Let me know!

Happy Hump Day, y’all! It’s nearly the weekend, the weather’s warming up (YAY!) and I’m currently reading Earnest by Kristin Von Kreisler.

IMG_5090A quick read, this 288 page book is about a couple bound together by the love of a dog (yes, Earnest) – cheesy, predictable and sappy as expected. Is it my favorite book ever? No. But it’s a good read for any dog lover/romantic at heart.

Thoughts? What should I read next? Let me know!
