A Look Back at London

A Look Back at London

In July of 2013 I was off to London to study abroad for a month as a part of Northeastern University’s Dialogue of Civilizations program. I wasn’t blogging back at that point, so I figured I’d share some snapshots from my time there with y’all.

Photos below are a mix from London, Bath and Stonehenge.

Got to see my main man, JT, at London’s Wireless Festival. He was incredible, as always.

Bonjour, Paris!

Bonjour, Paris!

J’adore Paris! From the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre (which really is as massive as everyone says it is, but my girl Mona is totally worth it), Paris has tons to offer. It reminds me of London…but a London where everything is in French and people eat macarons 24/7. The Palace of Versailles is truly incredible and definitely worth a day trip — plus it’s only 7 euro round trip to take the train from Paris (it’s about 45 mins out of the city). The gardens at the palace are soooo beautiful; I’m set on coming back one summer to really experience them (it was coooold and snaining* when we went). The village of Versailles itself is also quite lovely and I wish I’d had more time to just stroll around outside of the palace. Next time for sure!

*Snain: mixture of snow and rain.

Ty tried escargots (snails) for the first time. I’ve had them before in NYC and already love them. They’re the consistency of mushrooms prepared like mussels. Yuuuuummmm.

More to come…
